Our mission at the Democratic Volunteer Center (DVC) is to mobilize a community of grassroots volunteers and activists to defend democracy and elect Democrats. We are a San Francisco Bay Area-based organization that provides the space, infrastructure, and resources to elect Democrats and pass legislation aligned with the Democratic Party values at the local, state, and national levels. The Democratic Volunteer Center is staffed by volunteers and funded primarily through donations by individuals. We were founded as a nonprofit in 2010.
